I'm very sad to wake up today and read this news. Everything I've read from Greg always gave off an uber-cool vibe on the site. To me, by bringing us Saw and Saw II, he helped change the horror industry, and it's sad that he will not get to see its effects to the genre. He will be missed.

Man, that dude probably produced two of the best and most original horror movies in recent years. It is a sad day for horror.

The fact that hes the producer of both SAW films makes the news just as sad for me, those films (especially the first) have changed horror for the days we're now living in, like Freddy, Jason and Michael changed horror in their time.

RIP Gregg Hoffman

It's a damn shame. He was so young, too - it's actually sickening. RIP, Gregg.
