I realize this is a trivial thing, but it really gets on my nerves: People who don't understand what THE CONSTANT GARDENER means. I'm not saying it's a great title, but it's not like it's a fucking riddle people. When I saw the trailer and the title came up my first thought was the same as everyone else's: "Whu?" Then about a nanosecond later I said "Oh, I get it. What does a constant garderner do? He never stops digging. Like this guy, who never stops digging for the truth."

Yeah, I know, it's lame, I acknowledge that, but I'm still sick of folks who sit and stare at that poster pondering it over like it's a Rubik's Cube or something. I assure you that the title makes perfect sense and it's meaning is very easy to decipher, please stop complaining "But this movie has no garderners in it, what gives?"

Just because the shoe fits doesn't mean it should be worn.

If we had "The Constant Pilot" starring 50 Cent, I think that would be a ridiculously fucking stupid title, made simply because fiddy is always high.

The Constant Gardener is the worst film title in several recent years.

Just a touch. :P

But he was really just the straw that broke the camel's back.

Remember, I never said it was a good title, just that it wasn't hard to figure out what it's supposed to mean. When did people get so frigging literal? Of course there are no gardeners in the movie, it's a goddamn metaphor.

Wait, isn't it that Justin is the constant gardener because he takes care of his garden uh, constantly, ignoring the reality of his wife's life until it comes time to, you know, stop gardening and LIVE?

(i havent seen the movie, thats just the impression i got)
