I like these threads, because (aside from the fact that I like hearing other people's opinions) it gives me a chance to find out what movies I should really make an effort to see. List as many as you want.

Here's mine:
Favorite performance: Enemy at the Gates
Favorite movie with him in it: A Beautiful Mind

Haven't seen Pollock yet, though...

I thought he was pretty great in both Apollo 13 and The Truman Show.

He's a very talented actor, and one that is sadly over-seen from time to time.

PARIS, TROUT.

Followed closely by THE RIGHT STUFF, GLENGARY GLENROSS, POLLOCK, CHINA MOON, THE ABYSS and STATE OF GRACE.

I haven't seen many of his movies but his perf in the Truman Show was phenomenal and shouldve won him an long-deserved oscar. I haven't seen Pollack but I also love him in Places in the Heart which was the first film I'd seen him in. He was also great in the The Firm.

Just watched GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS again, and realized that aside from Pacino and Pesci, no one says "FUCK YOU!" as well as Ed Harris does!
