Opened Friday
My Review
I saw The Ringer on a friday afternoon with my friends (i wanted to see munich but no they all thought that look bad!!!) so i saw this, Was it funny? well yea sometimes but thats the problem it offers about i think 2 BIG laughs and a couple of other laughs through out... It shouldve been funnier I dont blame the actors everyone was fine I blame the screen play. This movie couldve been so much more but it plays itself save and is predictable from start to finish. Now some people may wonder if this movie disrespects mentally chanlenged people. Well, it actually doesnt it actaully treats them with respect just look at the ending. Well let me sum this movie up really quick couldve been good, but it just wasnt that funny, but it also couldve been a hell of a lot worse.
5/10

well, i love south park and this movie doesnt touch the south park episode one bit! That episode stabs this movie in terms of laughter as well as i also heard that the creators where saying south park stole the idea okay if they did what the fuck are u going to do show em this crappy effort?

I know this might sound trite, obvious and lame, but...this movie looks retarded.

When I first heard the premise and saw the teaser, I figured there was no way in hell they'd screw this up.
Judging by the last trailer however, it looks like they did :(

Maybe I'll rent it when it comes out, but I seriously doubt I'll see it in theaters.

I saw it a couple days ago. That said, I thought it was great. The movie did a great job by not making fun of people with handicap's in offensive ways (coughDEUCEBIGALOW2cough).
It was funny and it had a lot of heart. This movie suprised me how much heart it has.
8/10
Also my friend and I have been quoting it for days.
Winston: When the fuck did we get ice cream!?
Winston: Hey. Hey. Hey Jeffy. Name a movie.
Jeffy: Ok. Jaws.
Winston: Yeah. That was a good movie.
:D

I thought this movie was hilarious. Johnny Knoxville is turning into a pretty decent actor. I absolutely fell in love with Katherine Heigl in this movie. And Brian Cox is just awsome as always. He definately steels all of his scenes. A very sweet and funny movie.
