alright i know im new to the whole boards/posting things and i dont have many creds or respect but i have to make this point.
Has anyone els noticed a simalarity in all the recent comedy movies?
American pie series, Wedding Crashers, Road Trip, 40 year old virgin, Van wilder, Dukes of hazard to an extend although not as mush so, and Old school, they all contain the same jokes.
Funny everytime i hear them yet still the same premise of jokes. There this kind of teenage comedy that is very simplestic, sex, drugs, drinking, and more sex. And while its funny its the same shit over and over. Now i like to think my generation has a more mature view of the world and sense of wahts funny. This goes hand in hand with a post made by someon and i appoligize to whoever it is but i cant remember, never the less he stated that the whole Unrated shit is crap, "LIKE OMG ITS UNRATED, LIKE BECKY THEY SAY FUCK LIKE ONE MORE TIME OMG OMG OMG." just shut up
im guna think on this a lil more and update later im guna give myself a hemorage

What I think we as a society need is more animal attacks. I mean, those just totally kick comedies up to an entirely whole new level. Like in Saving Silverman, when that raccoon attacks Steve Zahn in the face, and he screams like a little girl!

And then in Elf, when that raccoon attacks Will Ferrell in the face, and he screams like a little girl!

And then, in Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, that raccoon attacks Harold in the face, and he screams like a little girl!

I JUST CAN'T GET E-FUCKING-NOUGH!!!!

Oh, and I could use some more cowbell, too.

It's simple, really.

American Pie did well, therefore the studios decided to make more crude comedies like Van Wilder. It popped up again with Old School, so then studios made crude comedies with people that were in Old School.

Supply and demand

Well, I guess you could say the trend started with Caddyshack and Animal House, though it did die down in the 80s for a bit. Porky's came around and started it up again. But for the most part, it's true. I think it's not so much the jokes, but the jokes in regard to whatever situations the characters are in. I gotta admit I laughed my ass off during these movies.

Stick with me, babies, and you'll be wearing golden diapers!

When Ronald McDonald graduated from clown college and made his first hamburger, calling it the Big Mac, people liked it so he made a lot more of them.

When people get tired of the Big Mac, they go to Burger King.
Unfortunately, there's just a lot of friggin McDonalds out there so you keep getting those f**king Big Macs, know what I mean?

(Plus, I hear the Burger King graudated from Dartmouth. Now that's a REAL college. Not a party college like that clown went to!)
