Does manga video still produce? like the old school manga flicks from the 80's and early 90's ex ninja scroll, golgo 13 do animators still make feature length violent manga films?

theres a company called Manga Entertainment that still releases anime (i dont think they have anything to do in making the films/series though)

as for feature length anime that is aimed at adults and violent, i havent come across one in recent years that doesnt either go into or bordor on being hentai

Oh you meant the Manga distributor. Sorry, my bad. It's just that so many people refer to anime as "manga" or "ovas", that I get confused.

As far as I know they do still produce, they released the Evangelion movie pack not too long ago.

yup im talking about manga video as in the distributor. the manga badge warrants a seal of approval. the recent anime i've seen that didn't have that badge all missed key elements. late 80's early 90's produced brilliant stuff. currently re-watching the classic fist of the noth star episodes. crying freeman, guyver, angel cop, this is great anime. hellsing, full metal all this new stuff aint all that. i dislike the use of cgi in hand drawn anime

I have no clue what they do now but many of their features contain the essential and some of the only ever great animes ever made. Perfect blue, ghost in the shell, ninja scroll which had much influence. then there was "X" too.

I heard that Manga Entertainment is releasing a new film.. I don't remember what it is but it looked cool..

Now ADV dominates..

I don't much bother with the Americanized stuff though anymore though..

The dubs are shitty, it's overprices and the packaging is crap.
