Battle of the Planets, G-Force & Gatchaman

Who remebers these? Most of us would be the good ol' BOTP version of this great anime!

This is obviously for discussing but i also have a question, i was really young when watching BOTP so dont remeber much...and im wodnering if anyoen can shed some light on what dvd's to get. BOTP or the original Gatchaman series? I'm pretty much blind buying since its been so long but which do you think would be the better version to get!??

Fianlly having watched most of the first box set of the Battle of the Planets version, i can definatly say that even though it's age, it is still highly entertaining, some good fun! Once you get past 7-Zark-7 spitting out the same shit every episode, its definatly a worthy look.

This was the first show to use a "team" to defeat the evil etc, and it shows, it's inspiration for shows like power rangers is definatly evident with most episodes having the G-force battle some big ass monster from Voltor or Voltron or whoever he (it's) called!

Definatly worth a look for anyone curious though.

oh yeah, I remember G-force. It was on every afternoon at 4:00 when I came home from school as a kid. I shold revisit these to bring back some old memories. Good stuff.
