Freddy VS. Michael

Ok, I've taken a break from my NOES: The return novel to work on an idea that quite frankly came from no where. Freddy VS. Michael is basically what it say's. But I'll break down the summery.

The people of Springwood have long suffered the Curse of Freddy Krueger, but they have managed to live life as normal as possible through combined efforts of the Hypnosil drugs and destroying any refernce to Krueger himself. That isn't to say the dreamstalker is gone. When a teen forgets their meds or falls asleep alone, they fall prey to the killer. All these deaths are instantly covered up to avoid panick. And so life in Springwood, though somewhat different, is for the most part peaceful again. That is until Halloween night.
The body of infamous killer Michael Myers is being transported across country to be studied when the truck gets a flat. Michael quickly takes advantage of the situation and kills everyone present. He suddenly finds himself in the small community of Springwood on Halloween eve. By accident he learns of a young relative of his that lives there and begins to hunt him down, killing anyone in his path unmercifully.
Meanwhile, Krueger notices that someone his taking out "HIS" kid's. This doesn't sit well with him and he takes action. But Krueger, who use's fear to overcome his victims soon learns that Michael Myers may infact, exist without fear. Krueger then decides to use Michael to his advantage, but he may find out Michael isn't so easily used. Now a group of teens must band together and try to stop both evils and survive the night in the process.

It's halloween night, Freddy will be supplying the tricks, Michael will bring the treats.

I've thought of a few scenerio's for the FvsJ sequel, was never sure if they were any good. I'll share my fav one.

It's been a few years since FvsJ, and the town of Springwood has undergone many changes. Once the "Hypnosil Conspiracy" was exposed, the media descended on the small town. As if the Hypnosil fallout wasn't enough, someone accidently mentions the Krueger legend in conjunction with the last murders. Soon the legend is ripped open and a year later a book telling Krueger's life story and his supposed dreamstalking legends is published and becomes a best seller. So good infact, it prompts a movie to made based on it. Freddy is about to become an american icon. No body is more thrilled about this then Krueger himself. With the release of the book and the movie, Millions will know and fear him, allowing Krueger to pierce the viel of springwood forever. No one in the world would be safe when they fell asleep.

A young boy who is obsessed with seriel killers, begins to dream of Krueger as his power grows. Eventually Freddy is strong enough to kill the boy. To save himself, the boy use's a gift he has to pull his parent's into his dreams to save him. But Freddy viciously murders them and almost gets the boy. Time goes by and the boy is tormented by Krueger in his dreams and he watches as people around the world die in their sleep. Finally he decides to use his power again, this time to bring Jason Voorhies into his dreams. It works and the two titans collide for round two.

Yeah, I have written a ton of fan fiction that i never published. I use it as practice for my original stuff.

My other FvsJ idea was a close second for fav. I thought it would be interesting to bring Freddy into the Jason X universe. Here is the run down....

Several months have passed since the Grendel massacre. The mask of Jason Voorhies (All that remains after his burn up after entry to earth 2) Has been found and is safely locked away in a top secret government facility. Jason is dead.

A base orbiting one of earth 2's moons intercepts a distress signal from a drifting craft. Eventually they use a tractor beam to pull it in and discover a group of people in cryo sleep. Refugee's from old earth before it's destruction. One by one they are woken and brought up to speed as the space station awaits for a ship to pick them up and bring them to earth 2.

One refugee, John Giles, a young teenager begins having trouble sleeping as he is visited by a burnt man with blades for fingers. He soon learns the man is famed earth 1 killer, Freddy Krueger. Krueger stowed away in the boy's subconscious to escape dying earth 1. Now awake, he returns to doing what he does best, killing. One by one people at the station begin dying in their sleep, until one girl manages to bring Freddy out of her dreams. A guard saves the girl and subdues Freddy. Eventually the pickup ship arrives and brings the refugees to earth 2, where they dock at a top secret military base. Freddy is taken into custody to be studied.

Meanwhile, the mask of Jason has been removed to be scarped for DNA so as to clone Jason and prehapes create super soliders. It works and Jason is alive again, but they fail in restraining him. Jason is free and on a rampage.

A psychologist attempts to coneverse with krueger but winds up dead, just as Freddy is strangling the life from the good doctor, Jason smashes through a wall in the room. Guards attack him giving freddy a chance to escape and find his glove. He finally does, but Jason has found him, the two collide, but Freddy doesn't stand a chance and his nearly killed. A teenager finds Freddy's unconscious form and brings him to the Nano unit. Freddy is placed in the machine, but a malfunction caused by Jason's rampage cause's the machine to malfunction and go into over drive. Freddy is upgraded into a super killing machine, both hands covered in cybernetic gloves that can fire blades and replenish them instantly. His bones have been steel plated, and he has been fused with cybernetic technology giving him super strengh and speed.

Once awake, he begins his search for Jason. When they meet up, they collide in the ultimate showdown!

There's a million and one ways you could have a FvsJ sequel go. There's a million ways you could tie Micheal into it to, but I don't care. I love Freddy vs. Jason. I thought it took all the things that made both franchises great and fused them together without being overwhelming. Hell, just the idea that it is a horror movie with a fucking plot is good enough for me. Ronny Yu and company took everything from both franchises...the nudity, the drugs, the kickass kills, the gore, the dreamworld, Elm St, Crystal Lake, and put it all together and it worked. Now adding Micheal into a picture and then fusing his world into these two other worlds of these killers...it might be overwhelming. THats just my two cents
