So yeah, its been awhile sense i participated in this. I just got Joblo's 50 coolest movies of all time book and loved it! And i started to loook at this movie talk threads again and saw that users were talking about their top favorite movies. I thought it was cool so i am going to show you my list...i hope you like.

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE

I've heard that many did not like this movie. And i realise it is disturbing and no i am not a disturbed child. One thing you may notice about me and this list is i am a big horror fan. Mostly of the old horror movies rather than some of the most recent. This movie stuck in and would not come out. I was totally in awe of this movie. Particularly because of it's documentary style, the use of "nobody" actors, many musicless and noisy scenes (when something scary was about to happen, you barley knew it was coming.) and Leatherface himself who to me, ranks up there with Chucky and Freddy Krueger as scary and cool horror characters. Because of its documentary style I found the film to be alot more spookier and disturbing than the average horror film. It was merky and hazzy looking that i was engulfed by every minute of it. It does feature a weird and kind of funny ending, but I'll forgive that for now.

Can we say...timeless classic? Casablanca is a engaging that although is a fun drama is still a love story....that's a love story and a damn good one if you ask me. I'm not too taken by many love stories but maybe due to the old fasion looks and the presents of Humphry Bogart, this movie blew away. A grand flick to watch

GOOD WILL HUNTING

I really enjoyed this movie, I thought it had rich performances coming from Matt Damon, Robin Williams, and suprisingly Ben Affleck! I thought it had some really humorous moments. For example the interview scene with Ben Affleck, this scene is really well-done, loved it. Mainly what i liked was Matt Damon's performance of how he spoke fast and outsmarted everybody..it was fun!

MEMENTO

I am a big fan of mind fucks. And in recent years next to MULHOLLAND DRIVE, MEMENTO rains supreme in recent year mindfucks. Unfortunatly for me i had already known that the movie was....SPOILER: moved backwards. But still at the end of the movie it was still weird for me to figure that out and understand that that's how the movie worked. I loved the black and white and color stories moving within each other to tell the story. And a very cool storyline i will also add.

A superb movie dealing with race. One of those movies that after you view you just wanna be a better person. Edward Norton is such a good actor playing just about any role you can throw at him...very coool.

freightning and interesting. It's a character film and the transition from evil to a new person with an ending that still doesn't quite make sense sometimes someone please xplain it to me.
