And while you're at it Mr. Jackson how about a special edition of Bad Taste and Meet The Feebles while you're at it? These movies have been screaming out for decent two disc special editions with audio commenataries and some meaty retrospective documentaries. We all know that Peter Jackson is serious about DVD and we all know that he hasn't disowned his earlier schlock now that he's a big name Director (in fact he's intimated a couple of times that he'd like to knock off another low budget gore movie but I doubt he's serious). I think we will see special editions of all of the above at some point but i'm itching to get my hands on them.

For right now, the R2 "Red" edition is holding me over until they get this one out. As far as I know, it's the longest cut available of all of them.:D

If The Frighteners SE is any indication, your wishes will be granted.

Not really. The Special Edition of The Frighteners just repackages all the content that Jackson put together for the Special Edition Laserdisc of the movie (the laserdisc I always wanted but couldn't afford...laserdiscs were soooooo fucking expensive). There's never been a special edition of Braindead in any form and the closest Bad Taste got was the two disc Anchor Bay release of a few years ago and that was a pointless fucking insult that could have easily been released on a single disc.
