The 5 disc Subspeices box set is finally available. It includes the 4 Subspecies films and The Vampire Journals. I really enjoyed all the films, Subspecies 2 and The Vampire Journals being my fave. Yes, its Full Moon but they did make good movies way back when. If you like blood, old castles, and vampire bitings I'd check it out. I got the first 3 on DVDR but they are just copied from VHS. They say they restored these films to DVD quality so I'll probably buy'em again.

its definetly an awesome sight to see, but right now i'm saving up for alot more important things out of movies in general.

A Trancers boxed set, now THATs something I need to see.

Badass! I'm saving up for this puppy. I've only seen the second installment, which was gnarlier than gnarl. Radu rocks hard.

I got my Subspecies box set. I just watched The Vampire Journals. The picture quality is really good though its full screen. Much better than the video. The only extras are the Videzone (making of) the movie and a commercial for the website.

I'm addicted to box sets and this looks great (esp. if you ignore the amateur photoshop cover). I've always wanted to see these

The box and the discs have lame photos on them, but the movies are really good.

Well there's always our own photoshop abilities. I'm sure that with my lack of talent I can come up with something just as creative :) Ah well it's not the packaging that matters.

You shouldn't be suprised that the cover "art" is outrageously terrible. All of the past 15-20 some odd Charles Band made movie titles have had atrocious cover art.

Is that your main reason in obtaining DVDs? Cover Art? than the content?

No.It was being talked about.And they have shitty DVD covers.
