Hey guys, I've been looking round on the net and haven't been able to find out a release date for the Sin City (SE) dvd in Australia? Any one know if a date has been confirmed. Really loking forward to getting this dvd, it looks sweet.

yep I'm in the UK and plumped for the R1 because couldn't be bothered waiting. there was about 3 months between the bare bones and SE in the US, but we've waited longer than that in the UK aint we?

also picked up serenity then saw the aussie only SE scheduled for february :(

the UK Serenity dvd is going to be better then the R1, Joss Whedon said in an interview that its going to have more features, so im waiting that one out.

it is one of the most packed dvd's i have seen in a while. it is a great region 1 dvd that should be a neccesity based on the greatness of the flick and the immense amount of special features.

To me it seems liek it'll be a long wait, so im just going to go and buy the american set. Dont know where in Oz you are, but there's a good amount of stores that carry "Foriegn" region dvd's, but expect to pay a good extra $20 or so for the set. Many R1 (or whatever usa region is) actualli work on R4 players without region change needed, so its a risk, but you should be able to change your dvd player's region in oen way or another.
