just thought i let people know if they did not know already that Media Play in Charlotte and Gastonia, North Carolina are closing and all their dvds are 40-60% off....this includes their used movies as well.
i went by last week and they still had A LOT of movies left...tons of tv shows...i picked up Deep Blue Sea, Assasins, and The Specialist for a total of $10.26...not the best movies but made my drive back to Norfolk, VA not so boring.
just thought id spread the word

One a half hour north of me is closing. They are already at 50-60% off stuff. I havent been there yet but I'm gonna be up that way tomorrow and plan to stop and check it out.

Yeah, they're all closing. But it's not surprising since they're prices are 50-60% higher than everywhere else (and that's no exaggeration). I went there last week and most of their movies were priced at $27.99 before the 40% off; which made them about $3.50 cheaper than the $19.99 they are regular price at Best Buy and Circuit City. There's a few that are cheaper and worth it, but not a whole lot. I picked up Ginger Snaps 2 for $13. And some of the TV box sets might be worth it. The ones for like $50 maybe, but I wanted to get some Soparnos sets and they were like $100 (all before clearance). I'll probably check back if they make the cuts bigger. They did have a ton of movies left, but they were completly unorganized. Nothing was alphabetized so it was hard to find anything.
