Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Rent for 21st February 2006 priced at $28.96 SRP. This film adaptation of Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning rock opera tells the story of one year in the life of a group of bohemians struggling in modern day East Village New York. The story centers around Mark (Anthony Rapp) and Roger (Adam Pascal), two roommates. While a former tragedy has made Roger numb to life, Mark tries to capture it through his attempts to make a film. In the year that follows, the group deals with love, loss, AIDS, and modern day life in one truly powerful story. Rosario Dawson, Jesse L. Martin, Idina Menzel, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Tracie Thoms, and Taye Diggs also star.

Buena Vista Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of An Unfinished Life for 11th April 2006 priced at $29.99 SRP. Robert Redford, Jennifer Lopez, Josh Lucas and Morgan Freeman star in this critically-acclaimed, heart-warming story of relationships and forgiveness. Directed by Lasse Hallström (Casanova, Chocolat, The Cider House Rules) An Unfinished Life follows a rural western family’s reunion and reconciliation.

Aeon Flux:
Paramount Home Entertainment has sent over official artwork for Aeon Flux (2005) which stars the likes of Charlize Theron, Marton Csokas and Frances McDormond. The film is set 400 years in the future, after a virus has decimated the world population, and only one city on Earth remains. Ruled by the Goodchild dynasty, it appears to be a perfect society of peace and prosperity - except its citizens keep mysteriously disappearing. Theron stars as Aeon Flux, a secret agent/assassin/warrior whose mission is to bring down the regime. The disc will be available to own from the 25th April, and should retail at around $19.99. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Extra material has yet to be confirmed.
