The Bourne Identity

Favorite Quote: "Stay away from me before I take down you and your agency!"

A high-octane action thriller that kicks the crap out of Bond and then calls it it's daddy! I haven't disliked a Doug Liman movie yet.

Runaway Jury

Favorite Quote: "Can I be excused for the Madden Challenge? I have a shot at a million bucks".

An underrated court room thriller that has a superb cast. Highly rewatchable.

X-Men

Favorite Quote: "The fate of man rests on our shoulders"

An x-cellent comic book movie. Might not be completely faithful to the actual comic but it made one hell of a movie! Hugh Jackman is x-ceptional as Wolverine.

A unique dark thriller. A real downer but hey, it all can't be shiny meadows and candy.

Hotel Rwanda

http://images.rottentomatoes.com/images/movie/gallery/1140346/photo_02.jpg

Favorite Quote: "I think if people see this footage, they'll say Oh, my God, that's horrible. And then they'll go on eating their dinners."

A harrowing film about the genocide of Rwanda. It really opened my eyes to a situation I knew nothing about. Don Cheadle is fantastic in this movie.

Glengarry Glen Ross

Favorite Quote: "That watch costs more than you car. I made $970,000 last year. How much you make? You see pal, that's who I am, and you're nothing. Nice guy? I don't give a ****. Good father? **** you! Go home and play with your kids. You wanna work here - close! You think this is abuse? You think this is abuse, you ****sucker? You can't take this, how can you take the abuse you get on a sit? You don't like it, leave."

Some of the best dialogue you'll see in any movie.

Favorite Quote: "Well, here's my first question. Do you think it's kind of dangerous handing out guns at a bank?"

Heartbreaking and compelling documentary about gun control. Far better than Fahrenheit 9/11.

Friday Night Lights

http://images.rottentomatoes.com/images/movie/coverv/08/242708.jpg

Favorite Quote: "What's wrong with y'all? Y'all are playin' like some little girls! Y'all act like you never played football before! These guys are nothin'! They bleed just like we do, and sweat just like we do. They went through two-a-days. We went through two-a-days in 110 degree heat. I want you to hit everything that move! If the ref gets in your way, you hit him! They're cheatin' us too! They're against us too. This is our team. This is us! Let's go right now! Let's get it off now and let's go!"

One of the best sports movies ever made. The actual sports is what you'd expect but it's the story of the town, the characters and their obsession with football that makes it so good.

Favorite Quote: "Hey, I'm not square, you're the one that's square. Your full of shit, man. What are you talking about? You walk out with those fuckin' creeps and low-lifes and degenerates out on the streets and you sell your little pussy for peanuts? For some low-life pimp who stands in the hall? And I'm square? You're the one that's square, man. I don't go screwing fuck with bunch of killers and junkies like you do. You call that bein' hip? What world are you from?"

One twisted movie but catches the isolation of the big city perfectly.
