The street date is january 31st, for information the official site is www.corpsebridedvd.com and there is also alot of funny things you can mess around with like ecards and a "desktop maggot"

I'm a huge fan of tim burtons, I was hoping to see this in theatre but I didn't catch it, the reviews don't seem draw it out as an amazing movie but the animation style itself is really amazing too me.

Ditto.

Despite Burton being my all time favorite director, I missed this at the theaters, and I still have no idea why.

Needless to say, I can't wait.

You guys aren't missing anything.
BIG FISH is one of my all time faves, I love Burton's style and his work with actors. I think he's an amazing director.
Corpse Bride was very lame, very.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was all right, a 7/10.
When I was watching CB, I was ashamed to be a Burton fan

Saw it at the theater, wasn't terribly impressed despite being entertained... And I never wanna hear any of the musical numbers EVER again.

Nope. Not a fan of Tim B. at all...terrible waste of Johnny Depps time and talent. (though i did enjoy Sleepy Hollow)

The first time I watched it I thought it was quite bad, mainly because I was expecting a movie on the same level with Nightmare Before Christmas. I watched it a second time, without the thought in my mind that it was Burton and really enjoyed it. I thought it was a much better movie the second time around and I will definitely be picking this up.

I've only seen it once and like the above poster, I was expecting something of NBC level, so I was disappointed. I'll probably put this on my Netflix queue.

I think I was expecting the movie to be better than it was, but then again it has to live up to the goth movie of the world: Nightmare before Christmas! :p :) ;) :D

I will say this for being a huge Burton fan Corpse Bride didn't really live up to Nightmare Before Christmas. Maybe if the movie had come out on its own without having Nightmare Before Christmas before I think it would've done much better. The problem is this CB will always be compared to NMBC. Visuals were freeking awesome but story wise was a bit off. All said I still bought the dvd and enjoyed it. One movie I definately regret paying money for was the remake for Planet of the Apes. Worst burton movie ever, in my oponion.
