I own "All I Ever Needed To Know About Filmmaking I Learned From The Toxic Avenger" and its one hell of a read, and one of my all-time favorite reads of all time. Didn't read his other book but I'm looking to certainly...anybody else read his books?Real inspiring stuff for aspiring filmmakers and such

I enjoyed this book alot as well. It has alot of interesting behind the scenes stories. Some of what happened during the making of the films is crazier than the Troma films themselves.

Yeah I Agree. He puts so many different aspects, views and characterizations into one subject and makes it really enjoyable for me. On one end he talks as the joking Kaufman we all know of,then he talks alot more seriously when necessary and that really helped it out.

I also liked that it had a list of every Troma film with a quick summary. Kaufman can even make fun of the films he releases.

Yeah he definetly knows the deal.

Its even more insane how much of profit they make though. People may laugh but alot of his earlier troma works all made profit out the ass.

Make Your Own Damn Movie! is easily the greatest "How-To" filmmaker's book I've ever come across. Seriously, if you want to make movies, save yourself a lot of time and effort sifting through pompous, long winded and frankly downright dull books aimed at Independent Filmmakers, and get this one. Extremely thorough and inspiring.

I need to track down All I Needed To Know About Filmmaking I Learned From the Toxic Avenger.

I've got the MAKE YOUR OWN DAMN MOVIE! DVD boxset - it's ace if a little long at 16 hours! (yep, that's right, 16 hours!)
