Mad Max and The Road Warrior are definitely worth it, but the current edition of The Road Warrior is only worth it used IMO. It has no extras, the audio isn't the best and the picture looks like the Widescreen VHS. Definately buy Mad Max, if you can find The Road Warrior for cheap, get it as well... Can't tell you about Beyond Thunderdome tho as I own it but have yet to watch it. Now hopefully we can get that Road Warrior 2-Disc SE sometime down the line... (With a video and audio upgrade, Warner you cheap bastards, I'm still pissed about the video on Heat)

Thunderdome isn't terrible, but it is the Return of the Jedi of the Mad Max series. It has a shitload of Ewoks (children) running around. And it's rated PG-13, so the violence is toned down. Pick it up to finish the collection.

i love the first two films, theres some great action scenes and car chases, they are very entertaining and worth getting
Thunderdome isn't terrible but its also not great, whenever i can bring myself to watch it i find it entertaining but all the kids really annoy me

Never heard of the Die Hard or Mad Max series? You crawl out from under a rock man? The original Die Hard is one of the greatest movies of the action adventure genre EVER. And the Road Warrior..... has some of the best if not the BEST action set pieces and stuntwork involving vehicular mayhem that has ever been committed to celluloid.

Mad Max and the Road Warrior are great movies. Beyond Thunderdome is a bit of an afterthought. Seemed more like they were trying to cash in one more time on the popularity of the originals and dumbing down the violence a bit to get a lower rating allowing for a larger audience. I own all 3, but only bought Thunderdome because I'm a bit of a completist. :D

If they ever start working on Mad Max 4 I'm sure we'll see one.

they dont really need the 4th...hell, the first 3 Lethal Weapon films were released has a set before the 4th came out...same goes with Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park, both of which may have 4th films coming.
