So has anyone picked this up yet? It just recently came out, with like 6 extra minutes, and some deleted scenes... I really wish they would've released this the 1st time around... I'm just wonderin' if it's worth the purchase for the extra shite or not...

If you're any fan of the movie, I suggust you pick this up ASAP. It's by far one of the best "double dip" purchases I have ever bought. The additional 6 minutes are pretty damn funny, as they're really only extended scenes. It also has a featurette talking with cast and crew (no Jim Carrey) interviews taken last year. Sadly, it must be one of Charles Rocket's last interviews. They also have 2 new trailers for the movie (made for the DVD I believe) that are friggin' HILARIOUS!!! Just do what I did, buy the upgrade and give your original copy to someone you love and who will appreciate it for the classic that it is.

The original had horrible picture quality. Is this one remastered and less grainy?

I can only assume that he was too busy for an interview, or (something I hope is not the case)...didn't want to do the interview because he wants it behind him. I was also disappointed that he didn't interview for last year's BATMAN FOREVER (part of the Anthology...something that Jack Nicholson did which was fuckin' awesome!) Anyway, if you do decide to pick this up, I'd be interested on what your reaction would be.

Well, honestly I'm not sure. It doesn't say so on the packaging, but I do have a large screen TV and did notice more clarity on this one.
