Now that Eddie Brock will appear in the sequel, do you think Spidey will wear the black costume in the movie?

I'm not sure, I feel it'll be too much to squeeze into the film. Theres already Sandman, Hobgoblin (or Green Goblin 2) and Venom being reported (and confirmed) as villains as well as a love triangle that consists of Peter/MJ/Gwen Stracy (that Bryce Dallas Howard, the blind girl from The Village, is apparently playing), it just might be too much to squeeze into one movie.

However, we don't know what to expect from this movie, so theres a possiblity that the Black Costume could very well be making an appearance with Venom showing up at the end of the movie. But as of now, and in my opinion, I doubt we'll be seeing the Costume....at least in Spider-Man 3.

I think that Raimi is just going to go the simple route, for the sake of cramming in more important stuff, and have Jameson bring it back from outer space. I'm not sure how Raimi is going to explain the symbiote mimicking Spidey without him wearing it, but I'm sure he'll think of something.

The only thing we know is that THC is definitely playing Flint Marko. Venom has not been confirmed by Raimi as being in the film.

However in an interview THC said that Topher will play a normal character all the way through the film until the end. I'm thinking Eddie all the way through and then Venom will be in it for like a second.

If that really is official then the blacks uit is definatly in, so im guessing it'l be used to defeat sandman before its departure into venom for 4...

So there's Eddie Brock, Sandman, a love triangle with Gwen Stacy, the possibility of Harry Osborn becoming the new Green Goblin AND the black costume, which possibly could include Venom?

I only hope this doesn't end up like the latter Batman sequels which tried to cram everything but the kitchen sink in the movie (three villains was way too much!) and ended up sucking.

But, I have a lot of faith in Sam Raimi. The other two movies were awesome.

I've read that many "hardcore" fans aren't liking the new suit, mainly because it doesn't look anything like the symbiote suit...but I like it, it stays true to the look of the movie as well as Spider-Man's original costume.

As far as three villains go, I'm sure Mr. Raimi knows what hes doing and I have faith that this will be a great film just like the other two. If anything Venom will appear at the end of the movie that'll set up Spider-Man 4, which has been rumoured and seems like the logical choice. But eitherway, I'm looking forward to this movie, should be good.

Dare I ask how the black suit got started in the comics?

It was produced by alien technology during the events of the Secret Wars. Ultimately, I suppose you could blame Reed Richards for the creation of Venom, (and inevitably Carnage who's killed more people under both personas than the freaking Punisher) which makes perfect sense, considering he's a general douchebag and ultimately responsible for various disasters and mishaps throughout the Marvel Universe.

Oh ok. Thank you. I would think they give an easier explanation during the film.

They're going the animated series route for the film. The symbiote comes down on a meteor.
