I recently got myself "Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal (Director's Cut). What feature films, as opposed to T.V. series', are VERY similar to it? Especially when it comes to the issue of violence. Films that are currently available on R1 DVD? Thanks!

Have you seen the end of Samurai Champloo? Its not as emotional as the end of Cowboy Bebop, but its still pretty moving.

Samurai Champloo owns. As much as i enjoyed Samurai X, i thought Champloo was more "well rounded" and had a more interesting assortment of characters.

hmm no it doesn't, samurai champloo isn't just another dissapointment its of the most dissapointing shows ever made and it happens to just so come from the man who made cowboy bebop, one of my favorite shows ever.

Hmm...ok since you say so. Wtf...I definitely have to side with Shockwave when it concerns Champloos ownage. I still like Cowboy Bebop more, but that doesn't take anything away from Champloo.

let me explain from my point of view

champloo and samurai x are completley different from each other. Each is in it's own genre, samurai x is more heart struck, while champloo is a mixture of what are suppose to be "well-rounded characters" but the show has a comedic humor in it. i could review champloo as a show but this thread asks for shows similar to samurai x, champloo is nothing like samurai x, it has a completley different kind of storytelling to it, it has a different style is a different kind of show.

I have to agree with you there, I reccomended Champloo because it also focuses on ...well Samurai. Though the two show's styles are completely different, both are great in their own ways.

it's great because it's bloody like that, violence and exhilerating that way
