Ugh. Just turned off Sportscenter where it's pretty much been Jerome Bettis all day, every day.

Do you get the feeling that the Superbowl broadcast is just gonna be this from the announcers:

"Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis."

If I see that stupid clip of him shouting "We goin' home!" one more time, I'm going to fly to Detroit and punch him. Excuse me, are the Steelers from Detroit? No, you are. So there is no "WE" going home.

I bet even if the Seahawks blow out the Steelers with the greatest Superbowl performance ever, all the announcers will say is "What an unfortunate way for Jerome Bettis to end his career."

Try living in Detroit, it's worse. Even 5 year old kids are talking about Bettis. 5 YEAR OLD KIDS!

I say let him have his day, he's been a solid player his entire career regardless of the role he plays. Whenever people count him out he surprises them with another good season. I hope the Steelers win and he leaves on a high note. I say good for him.

I hate Bettis.

However, he does play in the game. (Superbowl XL)

I am heterosexual.

Brady Quinn's sister doesn't play in the game. (Tostito's Fiesta Bowl)

One deserves the attention. I just hope that makes Hines Ward cry even harder when they lose.

What we should be tired of is Bettis' parents getting shown after everytime he holds the ball on one of his 8 fuckin carries a game.

They ain't losing buddy, so no crying. :) But yeah, I like the Bus a lot, but I'm even getting a little sick of "everything Bettis". I don't live in Detroit like Brode, but I do live in MI...and yes, it's annoying.

This is what happens when you have two good teams with no overwhelmingly compelling personalities. Writers have to gin up some kind of angle to cover.

You know...Bettis is in the Top 5 all time, he's not just some jackalope off the street.

Nothing will ever be worse than that awful game between the Giants and Ravens. We had to spend all week listening to a murderer and his coach, a guy Tony Kornheiser brilliantly labeled "a preening schmoe", talk about how him killing a couple of guys and leaving a bunch of kids w/o fathers was such a terrible distraction for them. The lowest of the low.

I can this game dosen't intrest me that much so that way I made a bet with a Steelers fan a work that they would lose and I could make $5 other than that I could care less.

For me nothing will compare to the absolute borefest betwwen the Ravens and the Giants in 2000 the most boring game ever. It would have been worse had the Giants actually won that piece of shit game.

Now time for me to go on a rant about this "disprespect" crap

And BTW enough with the "disprespected" crap. The Steelers have been "disprespected" because they are a #6 and nobody expected them to be there and blah blah blah, and the Seahawks have been "disprespected" because the NFC is weak and their division sucks and blah blah blah, and New England has been "disprespected" for 4+ years and blah blah blah. Seriously FUCK OFF. My team didn't even get a chance at winning more than 6 games this year and didn't bitch and moan and complain while their overrated rivals(Dallas) got picked to make the playoffs this year so please do me a favor and enough of this "disprespected" shit.

It pretty much makes not want to actually pick a winner in this damn game. As a matter of fact I won't so there.

The cool thing about the Ravens/Giants match up was that was the year that the NFL experimented with that MATRIX-camera, and amazingly, it came into use and proved that Jamal Lewis actually DID score a touchdown. I really liked that, and for crucial replays, there's no better way to review a play than to have a 360 degree shot of the action. Cool stuff. It was more exciting than the game.
