That's a pretty cool idea... But I'm not too sure... I don't want it to have the "half-baked" kind of deal with X2's good guys and bad guys uniting, but I trust Raimi, it's his baby and what he deems right is what's right for the film. Whether I like it or not when I see it is another story.

I like the feel of this. I trust Raimi to do this right. I like the whole best friends become enemies, enemies reluctantly uniting and whatever. I still think its premature to say Venom will be in this one.

Me too. It is more likely that Eddie Brock will be introduced in this film, and we MIGHT see Venom in S-M 4.

No its not. Its all but officially confirmed Topher will be playing Eddie.

According to what THC has said in an interview, Topher will be a normal character all the way through the movie, until the end. I think it will introduce Brock and his background and at the end we will see him don the symbiote and become Venom.

Avi confirmed before he stepped down at Marvel that there will be atleast one battle with Venom in the movie, probaly towards then end.
