Angelina Jolie in Sin City?

Hey everybody,

I know this probably isn't true and only in our wildest dreams would this come true but very recently, Angelina Jolie was seen having a special lunch with Robert Rodriguez to have a discussion which no one knows what it was about. A reporter that was close by did hear the two of them talking about her relationship with Brad and how they're doing but that is all he heard.

With those two talking, it instantly made me think about a possible role for Angelina in the upcoming Sin City sequel. It is scheduled to begin filming in the summer and it would be perfect because Angelina has her baby in the late spring and could get back in shape for the film. The role I thought about her playing is the gorgeous "Ava" in "A Dame to Kill For" which she would be perfect for. The woman who can seduce any man in the story including Dwight (Clive Owen). It would be perfect since the comic usually focuses on her body and her lips which for Angelina, are perfect!

That would work, although I was hoping the early reports of Maria Bello playing Ava Lord would be true, I think she's a more talented actress altogether.

Maria Bello is one foxy lady. I loved her in "The Cooler" and even more in "A History of Violence." Here's hoping Rodriguez can rope her in.

I have to agree with you guys, there would be no one better than Angelina for this role. She could have any man she wants and could manipulate them so easily. So, I third that motion.

I couldn't agree more with you Logan! It would be very nice to have that. There are so many sex scenes in A Dame to Kill For that it's almost hard to remember all of them and most of them involve Ava. As well, Gail and Dwight have sex, Ava and Dwight have sex, the list just goes on and on. Clive Owen is a lucky man if he returns for the sequel.

I don't know about Angelina Jolie playing Ava in Sin City 2. I have to disagree because I'm not sure if she could pull off the "dame in distress" mode in the Ava character. I'm going for either Maria Bello or what about Connie Nielsen? She played the crafty noirish-style beauty Renata in The Ice Harvest. I could picture one of those two actresses playing Ava. To Rodriguez and Miller - give them a chance to play her.

Knowing Rodriguez, Ava Lord will probably be Salma Hayek, not that that would be a terrible thing.

Monica Bellucci would also be good.
