I found #1 to be abstract, avant garde, and vague. What is "Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence" like? Is it more straight forward? Is it more conventional? Is there more actual PLOT etc.? PLEASE let me know A.S.A.P.! Thanks!

I'll take each question one at a time.

Is it more straight forward?

No. Less so. By quite a margin.

Is it more conventional?

No. Less so. By quite a margin.

Is there more actual plot?

I'm not sure. If it had been more straighforward and conventional I might have been able to judge this. Practically every second line of dialogue comes in the form of a philosophical quote. Being that i'm not terribly well versed in the philosophical musings of "great" minds I was a bit in the dark as to what the deeper meaning of the movie might have been.

Is it worth seeing?

I know you didn't ask. But despite the rather opaque nature of the movie I enjoyed it a great deal. Visually it's astonishing. One of the most gob-smackingly beautiful movies i've ever seen. If an understandable plot is not a prerequisite to enjoyment and you love animation I would suggest you give it a go. I would rent though rather than buy.

Thanks for the info., but I think I'll therefore NOT be buying either "Ghost In The Shell" or "Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence" anytime soon. Sorry.
