I just ran a search and was shocked to find that nobdy had started a thread for this actress.

I started out as a fan, loved her in Man on the Moon, Freeway, Election, Legally Blonde and thought her presence added some class to Cruel Intention, Best Laid Plans and others. Then Legally Blonde happened and she spent 5 years making uninspiring rom coms.

However an outstanding performance in Walk the Line, for which she fully deseres the Oscar she's likely to win has her in my good books again, lets just hope she'll continue to stretch herself.

So thats a YAY on the acting ability and, well, just look at those pics, she's ludicrously yummy, so that's an all round YAY

She might be the best actress of her generation.

Election, Freeway, Walk the Line, Man in the Moon and others.

YAY.

Pretty much my opinion, as well.

If you think she's hot, you simply must own a copy of Twilight. In addition to the crass reasons, it's a tight noirish mystery with a boatload of quality actors.

Her performance in Freeway and Legally Blonde are among the most irriatating and grating piece of acting I've ever seen! Especially Freeway which was much worse than fingernails in the chalk board.

I was a fan of her from Pleasantville and Cruel Intentions. But then Legally Blonde happened. She slightly rebounded with an appealing turn in Sweet Home Alabama but then went back down with the Legally Blonde sequel. But she completely blew me away with her performance in Walk the Line! What an amazing performance she gave! I hope she wins the oscar!

Yay!

"Yeah? Well, I get claustrophobic sucking strange cock!" is one of the ten funniest lines in cinema history.

Yea, she looks fuckin hot as hell in that 2nd pic... She's pretty decent... Has fucked up a few times (Legally Blonde, Sweet Home Alabama) but her performances in Election and Walk the Line more than made up for 'em ;)

I guess I'm one of the few people here who had no problems with her performance in 'Legally Blonde'.

I think she's simply wonderful in everything she does. A fantastic young actress with unlimited potential and versatility, as demonstrated by her diverse characterizations from Freeway, to Election, to Pleasantville, to Legally Blonde, to Vanity Fair, to Walk the Line, etc.

Those movies are enough to have me declare her as one of the best young actresses of her generation. I'm glad she's finally getting the recognition she deserves with 'Walk the Line'. I wouldn't consider it to be the best female performance of 2005, but it is pretty amazing and I'll be happy if she wins the Oscar nevertheless, as she's long overdue (seriously, she should've gotten Oscar noms for Election and Pleasantville).

It's also a bonus that she's breathtakingly beautiful, exudes endless charm that always makes her a highly likable personality, and handles herself so well off screen. She always comes off as one of the most intelligent celebrities out there.

I just love her.

Very big YAY!

I wouldn't necessarily say I had problems with her performance, as such. I'd just hate to see her settle for an endless string of this kind of easy fluff (which she could quite easily do, and appeared for a time to be ready to.) It would be a waste of her vast potential.

BIG YAY.

I first saw her in Freeway and she left me speechless. I can see why many people might hate the character (I liked her), but Reese's performance was outstanding - To this day I can't think of anyone else who could have inhabited the role so perfectly. She BECAME the character.

Then I saw her in Twilight, Election, Pleasantville and Cruel Intention and I realized that she is one of the finest actresses of her generation. It's been weird in recent years hearing people say that Reese can't act, only because she has done several mainstream comedies. This girl is a power to be reckoned with, and I'm happy she is now getting the respect she deserves.

And she seems like a genuinely intelligent and classy person in real life.

YAY.
