BubbleGum Crisis Tokyo 2040 . . . any good?

I just found the DVDs for this series really cheap at my local DVD store. I was interested in it, but I'd like to know if it's good enough to blind buy.

There are ok, nothing great. If they're really cheap I guess it worth a blind buy.
It's a remake of an Ova series from the 80's, but I found it more entertaining than the original.

BubbleGum Crisis Tokyo 2040 is one of the first animes i got on dvd and I liked the series. but there are better titles out there
