(Firstly, I'm not sure if this has been tried, tested and thrown before.)


By seeing the steady rise in the number of re-edited funny trailers, short films, and other video presentations, I thought it would be a nice idea to start a sub-forum for presenting the works of the members of this site.

It may also include photoshop artworks and whatever other works that the schmoes may commit themselves to.

Just a thought.

I'm hip to this idea, cause I've got a bunch of great stuff that I'm sure others would enjoy. The problem is hosting (server space) etc. It's all up to the man - Berge!

I think this is a great idea, as the long-running "fake Criterion art" thread in the DVD Discussion forum proved.

Also, I've been wanting to try my hand at making some fake trailers and it'd be nice to have a forum here where we could discuss techniques etc to do this.

Also, some schmoes have short films that are quite interesting and I think combining all of these would make for a good forum.

Hosting might be a problem and it is truly upto the man.

But I was just thinking that it would be cool for us to have a new forum as it would be easier if things are sorted out. They're mostly putting up these threads in the general movie talk section now, and most of the threads have links. So in that aspect, It wouldn't do much damage to the space (as most of'em are links).
