Ninja scroll has to be the goriest movie I've ever seen, heads chopped off, blood and gore galore, nudity in there as well. Ninja scroll is great because it's completley out of the boundarys of limits, it's easy to follow and theres a hige influence behind it, you might see why.

perfect blue is also very bloody, I don't wanna give away any details. although if you hate characters with "bubblegummy" sweet voices it might annoy you but she'll change a lot in the end.

blood:the last vampire(sucked but still blood)
ghost in the shell (complex but it has those moments)
and the best anime film ever made, akira

O.K. Thanks for the feedback. I'll make a note of those films. By the way I own a copy of "Ninja Scroll" and "Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal" ( Director's Cut), just so you know.

In relation to this thread please also suggest films where: the faces are drawn realisticly, the drawing style is simular to the anime segment in Kill Bill Vol.1, there are a limited number of robots in it, and there is a mix of weapons (guns and swords).

P.S.
I don't mind androids and or cyborgs that look like people. It's robots that look like robots that I mind.

Does there exist a "Fist Of The North Star" feature film?
