Haley Joel Osment or Nicole Kidman?

Which actor/actress/little brat do you think did a better job in their own ghostly movie?? Nicole Kidman in The Others, or Haley Joel Osment in The Sixth Sense??

I for one, think Nicole Kidman did an excellent job in The Others and Haley Joel Osment did O.K. in The Sixth Sense (NOTHING Oscar worthy though..But, he did do an excellent job in A.I.) So I'm going with Nicole Kidman..

Haley Joel Osment was not THAT good in The Sixth Sense. I think I may have seen him looking to the director in some scenes....I'm not sure though.

Nicole Kidman did an awsome job in The Others I liked all of Haley Joel Osment's movies and he did a great job in all of them but the only movie I thought he was so awsome was Pay It Forward so ill go with Nicole Kidman the Others is on my top ten favoite movie list.

I think it's because your saying Haley Osment wasn't that good in it. I mean, he was *that* good in it. For a 10 year-old (at the time) to pull that kind of an emotional performance off is quite a feat....or something. I'm not saying he can't act....I'm just saying he's slightly overrated. The performance was Oscar nominee-caliber, but not Oscar-caliber.

Look at Anna Paquin or Tatum O'Neal for some REAL child acting.

Here we go again with the nasty sarcastic attitude...what does age have to do with it? It's a simple question asked by Horror whore.

Anyway, I don't know who I'd pick. Both films get a 10/10 from me and they were both amazing. So, I don't know.

Well, these two are so different, and you also have to think about it...Nicole Kidman is X years older than Haley. The kid needs time to develop! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif I think that in their individual jobs, and roles they get, they both do fantastic jobs.

Basically: I don't think Nicole Kidman would be a good David in AI, and I don't think Haley Joel Osment would have done a good job at ALL as Grace in The Others. But, for a child actor, Haley Joel Osment is top notch...and as an actress, Nicole Kidman is great.

I'm gonna be different and say I preferred Haley's barnstormer over Nicole's groundbreaking performance. But they're both terrific.

Haley was really good. It is safe to say as for as child actors go he is the APPLE of Hollywood's eye. And I agree Nicole was excellent. ORANGE you glad she was nominated for a Golden Globe?
It's definately a flip-flop decision.
