Love em,

My biggest regret from last year was missing seeing them again due to being knocked head over heels by a rather mean spirited flu virus. I still think It still moves is their finest hour though.

One of my favorite bands. The album "At Dawn" is my favorite of theirs. But I love all their stuff.

oh yeah, it took a couple of listen throughs, but My Morning Jacket - Z grew on me big time!

My favorite track on the album is Anytime (that song is incredible) followed by Gideon, It Beats 4 U, and Off the Record, Worldless Chorus.

Great band, I have yet to hear their older stuff.

Z is definately one of my favorite albums at the moment.

It didn't really hit me the first few listenings, but I gave it a few more chances and I can stop playing it now.

My favorite track so far is Dondante. Knot Comes Loose, Off The Record are also top notch.

I have It Still Moves but haven't really given a shot yet. Probably wait until Z gets worn a bit.

The style between It Still Moves and Z is extremely different. Im curious as to what your reaction to that album is :). Personally I'm in love with it.

Decided I'd bump this bitch up seeing as how I just bought "Live from Okonokos" and cannot quit listening to it. Every song is an amazing jam, with a lot of simplicity wrapped in the genius of Jim James. Songs like "Off the Record", "Wordless Chorus", "One Big Holiday", "Easy Morning Rebel", and "Mahgeetah" are simply amazing. Great band...

for me, the studio albums are less than desirable, but Okonokos is great. IMO, get that, you dont need any of the studio albums. Though "Bermuda Highway" is a good song and thats not on the live album so hey, whatever

The only album of theirs I've listened to a fair amount (ie: enough to judge) is Z...my favorite track by far on that album is Lay Low followed by Anytime, Knot Comes Loose, and Dondante (not necessarily in that order)...something about Lay Low just hit me the first time I heard it.

It's odd...I just realized those also happen to be the last four tracks on the album heh...
