From what I hear, Akeelah should be huge. This movie tested off the charts both times it has been shown to screening audiences. It even got a standing ovation the first time.
Between being a great feel-good story and the marketing campaign Starbucks is participating in, look for this movie to do extremely well. I know it doesn't excite a lot of people, but if you have a family this isn't a movie to miss.
