Unbreakable is so much better than The Sixth Sense. Unbreakable has much better film making and story telling. I found The Sixth Sense to be incredibly overrated and not as good as the critics and audiences claimed it to be. I was at the edge of my seat watching Unbreakable, while I was at the very back of my seat watching The Sixth Sense.

Unbreakable 9/10
The Sixth Sense 5/10

Both of them take 9/10 for me, but I think the SIXTH SENSE is better. For two reasons: the first is Haley Joel Osment (even though Sam Jackson was real good in UNBREAKABLE, the other's only 9 years old!!!) and a best surprise at the end (again, the one from UNBREAKABLE was great, but SIXTH SENS has the best of its kind...ever).
And there isn't really anything going on in UNBREAKABLE, it's good, but it's all talk-talk-talk...

I love unbreakable with a passion, but also loved the sixth sense. But my theory is this, Sixth Sense was an alright movie taken to great with the ending, cuz the movie could have ended with Cole overcoming his fear of ghosts and Malcom leaving, but it gave us a HUGE suprise. On the other hand, Unbreakable relies on its ending, because if it ended with David rescuing people, it would have felt unfufilling to me. So in overall story telling and great movie making including acting, i have to go with Unbreakable. And the reason Unbreakable is just talk talk talk, is because that talk is helping develop the story for us. A lost art in hollywood.

The Sixth Sense is much better. Unbreakable is a piece of crap. It is boring and completely unbelievable. Some guy is never sick for his entire life but somehow the fact that this is strange never dawns on him. Give me a break.

Sixth Sense (8/10)
Unbreakable (3/10)

What, are you people nuts? Why is this even discussion? Unbreakable sucked like a cheerleader on prom night. It was slow, boring, poorly written, crappy dialouge, bad premiss, and it assumed that just because you're wearing a rain coat you can protect your secret identity (although it still beats Superman's disguise). I will admit that Unbreakable had the better suprise ending, but it can never compare to The Sixth Sense.

Unbreakable might have been slow, but that was one of the reasons why I loved it. It didn't rush everything into a quick 85 min popcorn movie but rather an intense and though-provoking mystery.
Unbreakable 8.5/10
The Sixth Sense 7/10

although i loved ender's comparison, i still have to disagree with him and say unbreakable is better. it is a better made film, but(for the record)i still love sixth sense.

The sixth sense sucks,Haley sucks.

The Sixth Sense was good
but
Unbreakable was not

Too slow!

The only thing a little interesting about it was the association to comics, the god & evil and the comic art was nice too

Bruce Willis was a bit disappointing to say the least because that movie could have been great if done well

I liked The Sixth Sense a lot but it was just a ghost story with philosophical notes.
But Unbreakable was a real masterpiece. The story had more depth. The eternal fight between Good and Evil.
So I vote for Unbreakable

The Sixth Sense

And not because it was more popular and made more money and was nominated for 6 Oscars or anything. I really like it more.

Definitely "The Sixth Sense." I thought "Unbreakable" was a total snorefest.

I have too go with "Unbreakable" here because I never really bought into the "Sixth Sense" hoopla. Unbreakable was an brilliant film that was beautifully acted, wonderfully written, and skillfully directed. Some of the same things can be said about Sense, but I found the story in Unbreakable too be more thought provoking and thought provoking films are my favorite kind.

Didn't like either of them too much... but I'll go with 'Unbreakable'. That scene where Sam Jackson goes off at the guy trying to buy a piece of original comic book art for his infant son was pretty funny.

I love both of these movies, but Unbreakable is slightly better. The Sixth Sense has the better acting (Samuel L. Jackson was fantastic, but Haley Joel Osment and Toni Colette were better) and the better ending (I still say that people who figured out the ending either saw the "don't give the ending away" commercials, or they are lying), but I like the mood and story much more in Unbreakable.

I guessed it thanks to the commercials on TV obvious when you think about it. Unbreakable was hella slow but I still enjoyed it. The ending really shocked me never saw that coming...

SIXTH SENSE (9/10)
UNBREAKABLE (7/10)

*************SPOILER ALERT (MAYBE)***********

Sixth Sense still makes me get teary at the end.

I saw unbreakable in theaters and didn't think much of it. But on second viewing it turns out to be a much deeper/better movie than I first thought. A lot of people said they saw the ending coming, but I was blindsided by it.

btw-how cool would it have been if haley joel osment had been the son instead.

I didn't see the ending coming, either. Really good, creepy ending.

As for the Haley Joel Osment thing, it would've definitely been cool, but maybe a little distracting. "Look, it's Haley Joel and Bruce Willis in another M. Night Shyalaman movie together!" Know what I mean? Still, Haley Joel would've done a better job than the kid in the movie did (not that he did badly)...

I love them both very much, but I gotta say 6th sense is a little better. My 5 favorite movies are Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Billy Madison, Mystery Men, and Spaceballs.
