The funny thing about this is Kiefer Sutherland is suppose to be playing this by the books type agent which is like the opposite of Jack Bauer. But there is a scene in the trailer where he is yelling "holster your weapon!" and even though this character is suppose to be very different, I still picture Jack Bauer being the one yelling it since he says it exactly the same way he says that line on 24.
But the movie looks really cool. I can't wait to see it.

I saw this on the Mr. & Mrs. Smith DVD. I think it will be alright. It's always entertaining to watch a movie about a "framed guy"

Yeah I definetly can notice upon instant watchings of the trailer, they are most surely trying to benefit from the sucess of 24.

Meh. Looks like a 24 movie to me. Why do an actual "24: The Movie" when ilovemovies can just watch this?

This movie looks cool but I'm sure it won't be anywhere near as cool as the 24 movie when it comes out.

This will be the closest to a 24 movie as 24 fans will get. Kiefer stopping a presidental assassination. Sounds 24 to me.
The funny thing is that the trailer shows the movie from Michael Douglas' point of view while a tv spot on the other night showed it from Kiefer's point of view so who knows what the movie is going to be like.

Seems to me that Kiefer Sutherland is a supporting character - big part, but supporting nonetheless; looks like Michael Douglas is the lead.

Actually, there will be a movie but the question is when will it come out. Right now, the earliest it could come out is 2008.
At first I also thought Kiefer was just a supporting character, but they have been advertising the movie as if he was just as much the lead as Michael Douglas.
But in actuality, they are probably doing that to try and cash in on his popularity from 24.
I don't know. Whatever is the case, the movie will still rule.

Yeah, Kiefer's star is definitely rising, so they're gonna use that to market the flick. I think it personally looks pretty damn good to me. I love these sorts of movies, so hopefully it doesn't disappoint.
