I had never been aware of this guy until Nicole Kidman started dating him but I think I like this guy. He gave a good performance at the Grammy's and now I see this story:

NORTH WILKESBORO, N.C. -- Country singer and recent Grammy winner Keith Urban will travel here Friday to make good on a 5-year-old handshake agreement.

Urban will appear at the Specialty Car Co., where he bought a 1994 Chevy Impala in 2001 using his first royalty check from his hit "But For the Grace of God."

"The dealer took $2,000 off the asking price, as long as I agreed to make an appearance at his dealership some time in the future," Urban said in a written statement. "It's taken long enough, but I've finally got back to town to settle up."

The car was in mint condition with only 3,000 miles when Urban bought it, said Specialty Car's Phil Stevens.

"I never thought that someone who had achieved what Keith has achieved since we first met would find the time to remember a simple handshake promise," Stevens said.

Last week, Urban won the Grammy for best male country vocal performance for "You'll Think of Me."

Cool. But it's also good press for him, so it's not like he's doing it totally unselfishly, if you get me.

I think that's a good story, even if I don't like his music.

I like his music and I think it's pretty neat that he went back and performed. Even if it was for publicity.

That's a nice car. I wonder if he pimped it out. Haha.

This is a cool story, like when Vin Diesel helped some kid sell cupcakes at Sea World after the kid had trouble selling one to him. I really like stories of this type. They are the sort that I may one day refer to, but slightly altering the details. Then when people correct me, I'll say, "Oh yeah, that's what it was!" and they'll think I didn't remember. Man, I wonder if Urban even does that.
