Hey everybody,

A recent interview with Frank Marshall (again!) brought forth some information that the final script for Jurassic Park IV is complete and it will begin filming for a 2008 release. They have not yet stated however who has written it or if Spielberg is involved. Check out the article below!

I just pray that they've broken away from the whole "people trapped on an island angle"... If I wanna see that I'll just hold dinosaur action figures up to Lost on TV and make god-awful impersonations of the dino noises and pretend it's JP4. It'd be much more entertaining than JP3 or Lost, IMO.:p

Oh god. Simply put this is a terrible idea.
the third one sucked
we need to move on from this TRIOLOGY

Bring it on. And yes, hopefully it'll be an improvement over the third one (which was still a fun film, but no where near as good as the original or The Lost World).

they should take a hint from the alien quadrilogy and just keep it at 3 films for the jp serries

I hope they finally nuke the island in this one.

Coming from somebody who enjoys the 10th installment in a series like Jason/Friday The 13th,somebody who loves part 6 in Halloween etc.,

This is overkill.

Why do I always feel like I'm the only one who enjoys Alien Resurrection?

Believe me my friend, you're not the only one. I enjoy it plenty.

JP IV, while not the best idea, is still pretty exciting for me. I think all three movies are either great (the first one) or pretty freakin' good (the last two). But I agree with Tyler_Durden_208; they need to put the dinos somewhere else other than on an island. Have the heroes chase some dinosaurs around Manhattan or something.

they did that at the end of the lost world, as for my opinion on this, meh wtvr, oh and tyler and elderpredator: you are the only 2 that movies is worse than jp3

Oh yeah, good point. Forgot about Godzilla, for obvious reasons. They gotta do something else other than the saps stuck on an island.

Why not make it a reality show?

10 cast aways featuring a spoiled rotten rich girl, a gay guy, a comic-relief black dude, an arrogant smart ass liberal, and a bunch of dumb college kids get stranded on a island with dinosaurs. Last one out alive wins a million dollars.

A while back I read a scriptment on AICN that had some dinos being made smarter and turned into mercanaries or some stupid shit. Please tell me that they aren't using that idea. Anyone read a recent scriptment?

Haha, actually he isn't kidding. There was actually a treatment that sounded a bit like Dino-Riders (if you remember that show).

But no, I don't think they'd go ahead with that script. I don't think Spielberg would allow it.

Call me an ass,but i'd love a DinoRiders movie.Definetly alot more warranted then a JP sequel.

DINO-RIDERS!!! Awesome show... Now why don't they update that instead of He-Man and G.I. Joe?

Oh me too, believe me. I loved the Dino-Riders when I was a kid and think they should bring it back on the cartoon level and a movie level as well.

Just not in the form of a JP sequel. ;)

I heard in this one they are going to bring back Vince Vaughn to reprise his role. If they do that, they need to bring back Goldblum - he hasnt been in anything good lately!(Life Aquatic sucked) If they are on an island at least have a script - the 3rd one didnt and it suffered greatly.

That would follow the pattern of lead roles/

1.) Neill
2.) Goldblum
3.) Neill
4.) Goldblum?

No idea what possible good idea they could have, though. I can see it now:

John Hammond: "Thank god for Site F."
Ian Malcolm: ( *shoots himself in the head*)
