Suprise in Apocalypto trailer?

I heard something about a frame in the trailer just past where the men are stalking through the woods that proves "mel gibson is a total nutcase". I can't watch it because my modem is too slow, so can someone tell me what is so funny in the trailer? Here's where I found out about the "suprise"

Okay...So he puts himself as an easter egg in a trailer, how does that in any way prove he's "gone mad." If the courts operated this way, people would be getting prison time like there was no tomorrow. Jesus...people will find any way to try and hate someone, but this is a new one even for me.

Wow...Where to even begin. First off, I'm not a religious man myself and as much as I might understand your point of view, you my friend need to learn some respect and humility. Just because you and I might not believe in an all mighty, does not give us the right to ridicule others who do.

As far as Mel Gibson being a devoutly religous man, why should that bother you, it's not as if he's forcing you to watch his films or belive in a god. If anything I admire the guy for having the balls to make a film his way...irrespective of the obstacles that he might face.

It's about the fall of the Mayan empire. It follows a Mayan man in an attempt to find his way home, from what I've gathered sop far. Since no one knows what really happened to them, Gibson decided to tell us his opinion, I guess.
