Im new to this but essential viewing in no order:

• The Thing: special edition (first DVD ever brought)
• Night of the living dead: collectors edition (there are loads of crap versions out there but this one has complete directors_commentary on it)
• 28 days later (day of the_Triffids meets the survivors)
• Evil Dead (im always for the originals)
• The shinning (heeeeers Jonnyyyyy)
• Alien (perfection)
• Day of the Triffids (UUK mini series superb see 28 days later)
•_Ravenous (Cannibalistic cowboys a top cast and Damon Albarn soundtrack)
• Session 9 (a real gem and a jam packed with extras)
• Deliverance (Hill billy male rape!!! thats goddamn scary if you ask me and it has Burt Reynolds in it... HE DID HIS OWN STUNTS YOU KNOW!)

controversial_in a way have_completely missed out all Japanese horror films and no_Halloween or Chainsaw_Massacre but i went for films i have_whittled out over the years as classic and stand up to repeated viewings._
