To check these go to the IMDb biography of an actor and scroll past the quotes/actual bio and find the salary list toward the bottom.

He didn't give a shit about the money, he made a film he wanted to make and didn't care about the cash. He has the financial freedom to do so, thus he does it.

I remember hearing Tom Hanks was in Toy Story for $50,000

....Maybe because on Forrest Gump he made 70,000,000$

....I dunno.

Clooney IS the man...I bet he'd trade the extra 5 mil or whatever for the Oscar he won...that's called an investment, folks...

P.S. Has anyone noticed that backend participation (heh, dirty image) is the way to go? The Ocean's cast, Tom Hanks, Jack Nicholson in Batman, they all got huge cash on backend deals...

I think read somewhere that Tom Hanks was only paid $7000 for splash.

I might have the number wrong, but I just remember it was ridiculously low.

oops Im an idiot. It was actually $70,000. I guess I misread the article way back when.
