I like Ludacris. In fact, he's like the only rapper I like anymore.

But today I was listening to the radio while I shaved/showered and the local rap/hip-hop/hits station played a flashback song, basically, a song from the 90's. Which makes me feel fuckin old cause I grew up and matured in the 90's, and if its time to flashback already then good God, where did the time go? Anyways, the voice said "Flashback - 1994!" and then "What's your fantasy" came on. I could swear this song came out in like 1999/2000 because thats when I first heard it when my at the time g/f played it for me.

So the question is, did that song really come out in 1994 and just didnt get popular until 1999/2000 or did the radio station screw up? I searched for info on Ludacris and what all I found said he got his start in the 90's because he was a DJ for Hot97 in Atlanta, and his first album was entitled 'Incognegro' and that 'What's your fantasy' was a track on that album, but it didn't give any album release date info.

As far as I knew, or assumed really, Ludacris didnt have any albums come out of become famous at all until 1999/2000. Am I wrong?

Found this about the album 'Incognegro': Release Date May 16, 2000.

So the radio station screwed up.

Thanks HC.
