Have you ever watched a movie, and sat there thinking "why the hell did they end up together?" maybe you even thought "why did they pick him for?" or "why did they pick her for?" Since movies contain alot romance, main character couples are very common and the better the couple the more hype the movie gets, but you'd expect some of them to be more interesting... and some of them to be umm... less interesting??? Name your least favourite couple (and who you would replace them/him/her for) and most favourite movie couple.

I think the best movie couple was "Sara and Derek" from save the last dance, they were cute together! the worst has to be "Rose and Jack" from titanic... anything with leonardo is bad...

I liked the pairing of George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez in "Out Of Sight". I thought they had a LOT of chemistry. Unlike Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts in "The Mexican", who had zero.

BEST: Humphrey Bogart & Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca
WORST: Nicolas Cage & Penelope Cruz in Captain Corelli's Mandolin
That is not the worst couple in movie history, but it was the first that came to mind. The one for best, however, is the best.

Darn it, I was going to say that http://www.joblo.com/ubb/frown.gif
I'll just go one further and say any couple where the man is about 30 years senior to his girlfriend.
There's nothing worse than seeing a pensioner pawing all over with a teenager on screen.
Peter Stringfellow, please take note http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif
Best has to be Pierce Brosnan and Renee Russo in The Thomas Crown Affair http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Best:
Cary Grant and Irene Dunne (The Awful Truth)
Robert Redford and Meryl Streep (Out of Africa)
Diane Keaton and Woody Allen (Annie Hall and Manhatten Murder Mystery in particular)
Worst:
Helen Hunt and Tom Hanks in CastAway (they had no chemistry and I didn't buy his feelings for her carrying him through years of isolation.)
