View Full Version : Best use of the "F" word in film

Hey everyone, I don't know whether this has been done before but I alwayd found that some actors say "FUCK" so much better than others. What's your favorite moment when you heard this terrible word uttered? Who uttered it and in which film?

My personal favorite has always been Denis Leary in "THE REF", a very underrated comedy. He pronounces it with such gusto taht you can't help but want to tell people to "fuck off already"!!

No one spouts out the word FUCK like Samuel L. Jackson or Jamie Lee Curtis.

The ones who utter fuck the best are Jason Mewes, Samuel L. Jackson and Al Pacino.

Plus I loved Tim Roth in Pulp Fiction, the way he kept saying fuck in that accent is hilarious.

Joe Pesci is the all time greatest when it comes to sproutin' out the F word. Goodfellas, Casino, and My Cousin Vinny are all testament to that.

Priceless.</font>Yes,I couldn't agree more.

Vince Vaughn's lines of the F-word in Made were possibly the best I had heard in a while. Here's the best one IMO:

Ricky(Vince Vaughn):"I'm loose? Yeah,I'm loose,I'm always fuckin loose. Here's scenario B for ya Bob,let's see how ya feel about this one.Now I don't know if you've noticed this or not,but I think I'm starting to get under Luis'(P.Diddy)skin as well, okay? It all started with the Red Dragon or the Welsh guy or whatever and they can play it down all they want, but you know 200 grand is a lot of fuckin money! It's a fucking lot of money, okay? 200 grand is definately a lot of fucking money, and now I got Luis, and the fucking fruit-pie the fucking magician, telling me that I can't fucking call my main man Max? Who fucking sent me out on a fucking operation? Well what about the Welsh guy? He's fucking scouting all over him, they fucking disappear and talk, and you haven't noticed this either, but when he's not fucking looking at me,or you're fucking doing whatever,I got fucking Jimmy the man with this shit too,and it's fucking coming at me from here and there,I don't know where it is,it might be coming this way,it might be coming that way,but the fucking shit's coming, and I'm not gonna be late to the fucking dance, man,I'm not gonna be fucking late to the dance on this one!"

I'll have to say Jason Mewes. Two scenes come to mind.

The first is his intro in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. The part where he's rapping and he says "Mother mother-fuck fuck, mother mother fuck."

And at the end of Dogma when he's spouting off to God. "What the fuck is going on here? What is this, the fucking Piano? Why ain't this bitch talking? What the fuck happened to that guy's head?"

I'm paraphrasing his quotes, but you all know what parts I'm talking about.

RJ MacReady in The Thing :

"Yeah, Fuck you too"

Axel Foley in Beverly Hills Cop :

"Get the Fuck outa here?"

Jack Torrance in The Shining :

Jack: "Now, we're going to make a new rule. When you come in here and you hear me typing [types] or whether you DON'T hear me typing, or whatever the FUCK you hear me doing; when I'm in here, it means that I am working, THAT means don't come in! Now, do you think you can handle that?"

Wendy: Yeah.

Jack: "Good. Now why don't you start right now and get the fuck out of here? Hm?"

Creepy scene.

Good call on that Plane Trains and Automobile speech..Steve Martin delivers it with such maniacal intensity too http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif...hehe..I picked the rest of the exchange off IMDB :

Car Rental Agent: I really don't care for the way you're speaking to me.

Neal Page: And I really don't care for the way your company left me in the middle of fucking nowhere with fucking keys to a fucking car that isn't fucking there. And I really didn't care to fucking walk down a fucking highway and across a fucking runway to get back here to have you smile at my fucking face. I want a fucking car RIGHT FUCKING NOW!

Car Rental Agent: May I see your rental agreement.

Neal Page: I threw it away.

Car Rental Agent: Oh boy.

Neal Page: Oh boy what?

Car Rental Agent: You're fucked!

From The Usual Suspects, the scene where they're first in the line-up, and everyone has to say the line:

"Hand me the keys, you fucking cocksucker". Especially Stephen Baldwin's is awesome.

And from The Way of the Gun, a very quotable line:

"If you won't shut the fuck up, I'm gonna come over there and fuckstart your head!"

The quotes should be about accurate, but probably not fully.

I remember at one point he turns to one of the guys, I think it was Mathew Modine and he says "I like you! You can fuck my sister!"

I'll be damned if I know what he meant but it's one of the timeliest and funniest uses of the word in film.

Actually, the South Park movie holds the record for most "f" words in a animated movie.

ICP Rulz is right, "Summer of Sam" does hold the record for the most "f" words.

I think IMDB.com says this, but I'm not sure.

- "Why? Because your going to kill me?"

- "No, so you can fuck yourself!"

Marisa Tomei's Deer speech in My Cousin Vinny:

"Imagine your a deer..."

Al Pacino in anything...absolutely anything.

And, as mentioned many-a-time...Jay. Something about his delivery...makes it...makes it a better word.

Kevin Spacey in anything, as well.

Memento8291

I wanted to sound original...but many people have already said what I think....most certainly Sam Jackson..."Shut...the fuck..up!" and Pesci...

However, no one can deny Pacino has a gift for dropping F-bombs as well...one of the many things this man does brilliantly... "Where did you learn your trade, you stupid *fucking* cunt...you idiot"

Tim Roth and Vince Vaughn are also pretty fuckin money uttering the word. I love Roth in Reservoir Dogs...rehersing the speech, his accent slips in a bit..."I'm like...*mather facker*" heh, good shite....

Brilliant! I certainly agree. Especially that quote (which honestly hadn't crossed my mind while I was posting how much I loved Pacino's use of the "f" word)...hearing him say it, especially, makes it all the more evident what a fantastic actor this guy truly is.

Great choices, everyone. I agree 100% on Joe Pesci, Sam Jackson, and Stephen Baldwin in The Usual Suspects.

I also want to point out that Al Pacino really knows how to let out a great "fuck" in mostly every film he comes out in. My favorite line of his that has the word, or part of it, is in Heat.

"Don't waste my motherfuckin' time!!!"

Off beat choices: Alec Baldwin, when the guy drives his truck into the door frame and crashes it and all the glass onto him in Miami Blues. When Alec turns and sees the guy steaming toward him he bellows "What the FUCK?!?" at the top of his lungs, and it's just hilarious.

I also like when Laurence Fishburne takes all the chicken and other food from the guy at the restaurant and instead of paying him says "Fuck you, very much." in King of New York.

Fishburne and Sam Jackson are the kings of using the word "Motherfucker."

i definately have to say in kuffs when george and ted (christian slater and tony goldwyn) just stopped their car because george saw the man who killed his brother and almost kills himself an ted by being hit by a bus...and then ted goes into a rant and every time he is going to swear, a funny noise, like a car horn, goes off to cover the swear...its really funny

here it is from imdb. com....
(when ted first speaks, every f**k is a weird noise like i said, you can't hear him say f**k....it sos great! but ted's last line, he just says f**k you, and there is no noise...its hard to explain (or i am really bad at explaining, which is possible) but its really the greatest!

Ted Bukovsky: Now, if I'm gonna be killed on the job, it's gonna be by a *bleep* bullet, not a *bleep* bus. Now turn this *bleeping* car around and let's get back on your *bleeping* patrol.
George Kuffs: You may have a limited vocabulary, Ted.
