Taxi Driver *****
Contact ****½
Silence of the Lambs ****½
Little Man Tate ****
Panic Room ****
Nell ***½
Maverick ***½

Can't remember seeing any more films with her, so this list is pretty flattering, no bad films at all.

Unfortunately, you're wrong. Nell was a horrible movie. And Maverick. What a POS.

That's you're opinion, mine can be seen above. What I don't appreciate is that you say I'm wrong, it's an opinion and my experience on opinions says that nobody is "right" or "wrong". I liked those movies, you didn't, so are you wrong or am I?

I love 'em all. And yes Grebdron, I think NELL wasn't bad at all (7.5/10) and MAVERICK was a very good entertainment flick (8/10). I agree with Arto on most of his other ratings too, although I haven't had the pleasure to see PANIC ROOM yet.

As far as "Favorite" Jodie Foster films go in my mind, I'd have to say that her 1970's Disney flicks are my faves hands down.

The excellent Candleshoe with Helen Hayes and David Niven.

Freaky Friday

Napoleon and Samantha

As far as BEST Jodie Foster films go, I'd have to say that The Accused is her best film.

See, when I say you are "wrong" I'm doing the same thing as you're doing; expressing an opinion. I don't go out of my way to belittle you, especially since I see from some of your other posts that I agree w/you quite often. (Not that I will attempt to offend even the people I strongly disagree with, either. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif) I'm not here to make enemies, nor am I here to "win friends and influence people". So, please take my comments for what they're worth (in no way intended to offend) and we can continue to banter back and forth, like good schmoes. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Arto is right, you can't say "you're wrong" about an opinion. That's like saying "you're wrong" to "my favorite color is blue". It just doesn't work.

You should've said "I disagree", but eh, it doesn't matter. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

I agree, I should have said I disagree. But, Colin, you are WRONG. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif

*LOL*

Anyway, back on topic, I rewatched The Silence of the Lambs the other day and bumped it back up to 10/10. I don't remember why I lowered it in the first place. A truly great movie.

I'm also a huge fan of Jodie Foster, I think she's one of the greatest actresses of her generation. I'd say my favorite movie of hers was Silence of the Lambs.
