Given that this is a fan trailer, I think it's pretty good.

The Legend of Zelda: The Hero Of Time (http://youtube.com/watch?v=jB89-9X6YS0)

Here's the official site: http://www.legendofzeldaseries.com/main.php?page=fanmovie.html

While I respect the obvious gigantic effort and dedication done to making that trailer . . . it is so ridiculous I almost die. And it's not their fault, it's exactly why I don't think a whimsical world like Zelda's could work as a movie. It would just look damned silly (as seen in that trailer).

I hope a movie is never made (and that's coming from a huge Zelda fan).

HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!

Sorry, but Link looks like a fag. This movie looks like shit. I don't care if you are an independent filmmaker with a low budget, you cannot make an Epic tale like Zelda into a movie. Its a fucking crime having one of the best video games in history being laughed at because some fanboy with a bit cash and some free time on his hands thought he could bring it to life. BAH!

I laughed when I saw the Din's Fire move. It didn't look anything like what is supposed to happen.

And how original is this kid? Not enough because he has to use the Two Towers/Requiem For A Dream music. I knew that shit was coming.

Although I like the "Courage, Wisdom, Power" coming up on screen to show how each piece of the Triforce is connected to the whole.

Laaaaaaaaaaame!

(Just for the record, I loooooove the Zelda series)

My gut is so sore from laughing. I don't mean any disrespect to the people behind the fan film.

I thought that basing a film off Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time would be the way to go until I saw this. Granted, I reckon a good job can be done with a live-action Zelda adaptation if put in the right hands.

I think the best bet is for an animated feature film, not live-action; at least not until someone capable of doing a proper adaptation comes along.
