Hey everybody,

New Line Entertainment just announced the special edition release of "Final Destination 3" which should come out on July 25th. Here is a blurb on the feature of the discs and a photo of the cover art which is pretty shitty if you ask me. What do you all think? I never actually saw the movie yet so I'll rent it.

This latest horror sequel will be available to own from the 25th July, in seperate widescreen and full screen releases. Each will carry English Dolby Digital 5.1 EX, DTS 6.1 ES and Stereo Surround tracks. Extras will include commentary by director and co-writer James Wong, co-writer Glen Morgan and director of photography Robert Mclachlan, a Choose-Their-Fate Interactive feature, an It’s All Around You animated short (looking at death statistics), and a Dead Teenager Movie featurette that looks at the teen horror genre. Completing the package will be a Kill Shot: The Making of Final Destination 3 documentary, a Planned Accidents featurette, a "Police Station" deleted scene, and the theatrical trailer.

What no thumbs up stamp from Ebert & Roeper?

Anyways the guy that played opposite of the lead character looks constipated. GOTTA GO GOTTA GOOOOO RIGHT NOW!

I kinda liked the 3rd installment. Not as strong as the previous ones.I do plan to check it out again as a rental

2 disc thrill ride edition
these names are getting quite annoying

it's not worth my money if all I want to see are how creative the kills are.

The adverstisement.

Not really Blk_Flower, the movie is presented with an option very much like choose your adventure books. Periodically throughout the movie you are given options for the characters to enact on resulting in different endings. An interactive movie.

From the April 4th post on MovieWeb (http://www.movieweb.com/dvd/news/17/11917.php): Once helmer-scribe Jim Wong wrote 25 new script pages, it was just a matter of getting the requisite budget approvals for the extra costs, which New Line pegs between $700,000 and $1 million. Pic's budget was just under $30 million. The Thrill Ride edition gives viewers seven choices at 10-minute intervals. Among the choices that pop up onscreen: "Should Wendy take another look?" and "Map" or "No Map." Viewers can also opt to see the theatrical version of the movie. "Honestly, trying to keep it all straight down to the props was really mind-boggling," said producer Craig Perry. Also a challenge: keeping the interactive version a secret during the pic's theatrical run. "New Line homevideo basically made us sign our lives away," Perry said, noting the film was shot a year ago and underwent significant post-production without word getting out... New Line plans to do another interactive project, but is waiting to see how consumers take to this version.

Very sway indeed. What's annoying about the DVD subtitle?

I haven't seen this one yet, but I will be picking it up on day one. I had a great time with FD2 and also like the original.

Good, cheesy fun. Hell, even the lady liked FD2.

I thought Final Destination 3 was a total blast. My favorite of the series by far. I'll be buying the DVD for sure. The interactive movie feature thing sounds really cool. I do hope we can change the faith of the characters, I mean all of them, not just the leads, since my favorite characters gets killed in the movie. But I agree that the red cover art sucks, the blue one is a bit better though, but it's Full Screen...
