Yesterday I bought the special edition of Blue Thunder. Earlier last night I saw something that grabbed my attention in the supplementary section, the documentary; Ride With The Angels: Making Blue Thunder. I saw this...

It's the first time I've heard about it. I'll probably pick that up. A good companion set for my Airwolf box. Does anybody know a release date? Anyhow, I kinda got screen snap happy. Enjoy!

I think someone can make a desktop from that.

I remember watching the show when it was on TV. I loved Blue Thunder as a kid. It was (I think) the first movie I considered my "favorite movie."

I don't even know if the show lasted the whole year, but I remember that Blue Thunder was always fighting some guy in a jet. Even as a six year old kid, I was all like "It's always some guy in a jet."

I hope they release this. It'd be fun to watch. Then again, they haven't released "Automan," or "Manimal," so Blue Thunder could be wishful thinking.

Ever notice that they used the design of Blue Thunder for the Sega game Thunder Blade? Even used a shot of the movie for the start screen.

Hmmm. I didn't know that. Neat. Did some looking, found an episode guide (http://web.archive.org/web/20040621173843/www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/EpisodeGuideSummary/showid-3520/Blue_Thunder/). The show only lasted 11 shows. I wonder if the box set will have any extras.

Yes. I agree, Automan and Manimal needs to come out on DVD. And The Misfits Of Science.

Aww... I wish they were still using a helicopter for SoundWaves alt-mode in the new Transformers movie....

I mocked this up (music from the original TF movie) -
