I am referring to the nine packs of cheesy old horror flicks (I already own "The Living Dead" horror pack). There are some about killer monsters, psychos, etc. They usually cost around seven dollars a piece.
I must say that between watching the films on DVD and writing reviews of them on here, the Living Dead pack has kept me quite entertained.
Do you know what I'm blathering about, and if you do, are the rest of them worth a blind buy?

I have a couple of these. The way I see it, all those movies for under ten bucks is a great deal. If you enjoy one of the movies, you have paid half the price of most DVDs. In my collections, I got Scars of Dracula, Night of the Living Dead, Pieces, and the original House on Haunted Hill to name a few. On the other hand, you have to sift through some crap for a few good movies. If you see one of these and recognize a movie that you like, buy it. You may be pleasantly surprised. Especially for that price.

Are you talking about those box sets that look like little beer cans with the movie poster on the front of them?
I was looking at picking up the zombie one soon.

At first I thought she was but I dont think so. Those 'beer can' lookalikes have six movies, not nine, and are usually 20 something a piece. I have the Living Dead version of those and am itching to get the others

I've got a bunch of the nine packs. Sometimes they change the titles of the movies so you'll end up owning the same movies twice or three times over and not knowing it unless you watch all the damn movies in the set. I usually buy them for one movie that is hard to find, which is why I now own multiples of such crap as Satanic Rites of Dracula, the worst movie ever, just to get single gems like Bava's Kill Baby Kill.
