The official site (http://www.fd3movie.com) says that you can "change the movie" in the DVD. Not sure what that means, we'll have to wait till July 25th to find out, I guess.

Sounds pretty self explanatory to me. You get to choose what Wendy does sort of like those "choose your own adventure" book. So you get more of the movie to watch.

I had considered that might be what it meant, but it's a little hard to believe that they'd shoot extra stuff for the DVD's special feature. Maybe they were plenty of alternately shot scenes or something, or the 'changed' stuff isn't exactly live action. I really have no clue.
But if it really is a 'choose your own adventure' kind of thing with new shot footage, it's going to be the best damned DVD ever.

Sounds good, but I agree that cover is bad. It looks like a direct to video cover.
Aside from the awful cover art, I am very excited for this DVD. I loved this movie and the special features only add to the excitement.

The story I heard is that they shot alternate death sequences for the characters, and rather than making them deleted scenes, they chose to do it this way...

Which will 70t4lly rawk.

While I agree that the cover art is bad, at least it is the same as the poster, right? At least I think it is. But yeah, I thought the poster was cheesey too.

I can't wait for this baby to be released.
On Wikipedia it reveals all the 'choose their fate' scenes if anyone wants to read them.

Why spoil the fun? . . . apparently it's not as much fun as I expected. I read the first one and it's "Uh, and then there's a 20 page text that tells you what happened." YEs, new footage but the story doesn't change, just . . . it's odd.

Well this DVD is loads of fun. Definitely one of the best I own. An incredible making of that helps me appreciate the movie more and the Choose Their Fate is absolutely amazing. This is definitely one of my best purchases.

The "Choose Their Fate" Function was trippy..........
***SPOILERS***
I like how the moment of truth and the question gets posed like when they are in the fast food drive thru and you choose if Wendy should honk the horn once more or not. Well I obviously went for Wendy honking the horn and Ian gets saved.
Later a prompt comes on asking if Ian was worth saving.....

Umm...its Frankie Cheeks not Ian. Ian is the smart guy with the jet black hair. (sorry, I've watched it too many times to let that slip:D)
