No, there isn't an SE announced.
But I rented the disc and it seems very bare-bones to me, and it seems like they'd suck the juices (forgive the pun :D ) out of a film like this on dvd. I don't double-dip now, but I really do like the film and would want to own it but I saw it recently and can wait.
Has anyone heard anything about an SE because the dvd is quite disappointing really. Should I wait?

I was wondering that too. I went ahead and bought this version. I'm sure they'll release one later on. I refuse to believe there aren't some great interviews with Ang and the writers or documentaries about a whole slew of topics.
I'm guessing i'll have to buy the super delux cowboy edition in a few months.

People seemed to know that Sin City was going to have two versions. Do studios usually say if multiple versions will be released?

2 SNAPS DOWN, WITH A TWIST.

Did not like this movie.

I did however tell my dad, a John Wayne fan and media shutout, that it was the best Western I had ever seen. Great joke.

Of course there will be a SE, that's why I decided to hold off on buying it this week. Well that and gas is 2.71.

Well, I'll wait.
Cut down on the spending then for now, hopefully the SE doesn't come by too late...
