How many pets do you, have and what are they

Well l have, 1 dog 7 love birds 6 budgies and 5rabbits So what do have

God of War 12-29-2012 12:06 AM

I have no pets. I did have the most adorable cat. But he died 6 months ago. I posted about this in the losing a pet topic.
I will not be getting any more pets in the future. Just to lose them all over again. I can't/won't stand the trauma of that.

My Simba was a cat. Not a dog. And the rest of your post outlines why I won't have another pet. I love animals. I wish I could have a zoo full. But I can't and I won't. It sux

Bondgirl 12-29-2012 12:51 AM

I am,sorry about,my,mistake, and,l have,to agree,it is hard to replace a pet you have lost and,l don't blame, you for not getting another pet because it,really hurts do UIou have lots of photo of simba as. A kitten and as he was growing up

Ermy 12-29-2012 12:51 AM

I have 4 gerbils, one hamster and two guinea pigs who share a large tank. There names are Randy Newman, Gil Bellows, Ernie Hudson, Matthew Lillard, James Cromwell, Tits McGhee and Lorenzo Lamas. They have formed a cool little community and I like them all a lot. I also have a pooch named Danza. I have had animals most of my life but with work and business it's hard to take care of as many as i used to and all.

Bondgirl 12-29-2012 02:44 AM

What is a gerbil but l have to say you have a few animals just like me I have to also agree it comes abut exsensive when, you have a lot animals l have 3,baby rabbits and 3,budgies and also 2,baby,lovebird it is lo see them grow into adulthood

Ermy 12-29-2012 03:04 AM

I have zero at the moment. But I'm thinking about getting a lizard (leopard gecko or a bearded dragon)

Bondgirl 12-29-2012 03:28 AM

When l was a child l had a blue tongue lizard and a little tiny turtle who made my house there home

I no longer keep a pet, but when I did, I was a dog person. I grew up with three dalmatians until they passed, then I was surprised with a toy poodle, which is a small poodle, not an actual toy. :p

I was thinking that if I decide to get another pet later on, I might get a cat.

Bondgirl 12-30-2012 11:35 PM

I used to have a toy puddle but instead of one l had two of them one was black the, other was cream

Bondgirl 12-31-2012 09:08 AM

I have to agree that losing a pet is hard when we lost tess we put a pot plant on the area she slept l can understand it is hard to move on because a pet is part of the family and you do grieve and often a person does nor want a replacement plus six months is still raw and hard to handle

Very funny SSBlock

When tess died there place where she slept was so empty and by putting the pot plant there sort of helped with the greiving
Also when you have children a pet dying can be upsetting my daughter was very young at the time and took it hard so it did help

one pitbull, Pipsqueak

one cat, Timber, aka Timbo Slice

Someday I hope to have more property, and I'll get more animals. I kind of want a small farm.

I have none atm because when my cat died after 21 years , i felt a great loss. Broke her hip while jumping off the table. The veterinary called my cat "ancien" by his usual standard.

but i had a lot of pets in my life : Goldfish (2 x4 fish ) , Rabbits ( 2x ) , Dog (1x) , Cats (3x) , Hamsters ( 4+2+4 ) , Snake (1x ... blue on top , reddish under .. caught it in a field ) , Bird (1x a cockatiel ) . At one point for 6 months in my house , it was a zoo since i had 1 of everything i named except the dog ( Patof sadly died when i was 8 ... it was a colley like Lassie btw )

Well it was a symbol to the pet we lost and when tess died there was a huge empty space
I can understand why God of war wouldnt get another pet because it is heartbreaking when they leave us

Well it is nice when we have alot of animals :D but they can be costly
before tess we had a dog called Cindy and she used to go everywhere with us
Even to the local icecream parlor and she would have her own icecream with us
Even a hotdod if we were having that too
When nmy daughter was a baby she used to come with me as we would go for a walk one time a huge dog came for my daughter and l well cindy was not the type of dog to bite but this time she went for the other dog

The other dog had to be whacked with a pole lkonw that was abit rough for the owner to do this but the people who knew us said they couldnt beleive my dog would react to us being in danger

One time someone stole Cindy too but after a couple of days who ever took her bought her back so maybe she fretted for us
Cindy was aKelpie laberdor
